Washington's Gaelic Language and Cultural Society

Fàilte (welcome)!

Slighe nan Gàidheal is a non-profit educational society that teaches and promotes the Scottish Gaelic language and culture in the Pacific Northwest.

Learn Gaelic

Please join us for a full day of Scottish Gaelic!

Our Zero to Gaelic (Z2G) program is getting underway. We offer three levels of progressive instruction plus our Ceum Suas group for ongoing and advanced learners, with immersion activities throughout the levels. Intensive Days are offered on the first Saturday of each month, from October through May.

We meet north of the University of Washington, about 6 miles/minutes, for a day of active language learning, 9:30am - 3:30pm.   We have participants who join us from as far as Oregon & near the Canadian border.
